Indiana Children's Museum

Joshua's new big boy seat in Daddy's truck. He is very excited about using the same seat belt as Mommy & Daddy!

There is a Hot Wheels exhibit at the museum right now. I think Daddy liked it as much as Joshua did!

Of course we had to play with the choo choo's! I will admit, this table is pretty awesome!

I love watching Joshua with other kids or kids we don't know. He and this little boy were talking about where they were going to drive to. Pretty cute!!

This is how Joshua's goggles were most of the time. It's a real struggle to get him to keep them on.

 

This is an ice cream shop in the museum. We hadn't been through this part before. As you can tell by the next pictures, Joshua loved it.

 

As much as Joshua loves planes, helicopters and airports, you'd think he'd love a flight simulator. As you can see by this picture, that wasn't the case. We didn't make it through the 3 minuet flight.

 

He jabbered nearly the whole way home. With only a few minuets left to go in our trip, I looked back and he was out!

What would you do with some time and a pile of big boxes?

 

 

Make a big fort, of course!!

Grandma Dana has always told Joshua the bears at the shop were all his.
 I came around the corner and find him hugging these bears.
He says to me "I take them to my fort" Sorry, buddy. Mommy has to sell those bears!

 

Making bubble "soup" ~ This is all playtime for Joshua. Although, he's going to be big enough soon to wash buckets!

 

 

 

 

School!

 

 

Joshua started preschool this fall. He's going to Kid's Alive at Covenant Church. This is where Grandma Dana teaches. He goes Wednesday and Friday mornings & he LOVES it!

Our Garden & Farm

 

Joshua's pumpkins....ripened in late June. They were volunteers from the compost pile.

 

 

So Daddy & Joshua made pumpkin puree.

We were please with all the produce the farm and garden produced.

Rather than having a tower of jars (mainly of tomato based products) we bought a cabinet to put all of the garden goodies in. 

Daddy had a good helper putting cabinets together.

We ended up having to get 2 cabinets because one couldn't hold all that we canned!
We had a tally going of all that we had canned, but between eating it and canning more I seem to have lost count.
Really looking forward to eating this through the winter!
