Our first stop. We purposely stopped at rest stops so we could get Joshua out and give him some time out of his car seat.

Most of the time everyone says he looks like daddy, but I have to admit, this is defiantly a mommy face!

Once we got to Aunt Carol's & Uncle Larry's house, we introduced Joshua to Aunt Carol (Uncle Larry was on a trip till Sunday) and we crashed for the night.

Saturday morning we got up and did some exploring around Indiana, PA. We went to the cemetery where Jim's Grandparent's and great grandparents are buried.

After visiting the cemetery we headed to the farm for Joshua to meet (Great) Grandpap Rising.
Needless to say, Grandpap was very excited to meet his newest great grandson!
We've found that Joshua does best with new people if he can have a few moments to study the new person before he is handed off. Jim was holding Joshua on his lap and Joshua had been studying Grandpap. Then Joshua stuck his hands out towards Grandpap reaching for him. It was soooo cute!!! (Great) Grandpap was so proud!!

Visiting at the farm wore JCS out ~ but don't worry, he's got ahold of his hat!
Next we headed to Homer City to see Uncle Merv & Aunt Linda
Merv did great with Joshua! Joshua was starting to get fussy, but Merv had him laughing!

We went back to Aunt Carol's house so Joshua could get a nap. It had been a long day.
Later that evening, Jim's cousins Shana her husband Aaron came over for a visit.

On Sunday we went to Aunt JoAnn's house for a Rising get together (really it was time for everyone to meet Joshua!)

Joshua really liked Hannah ~ he would reach out for her & she would giggle, which he loved!
Uncle Larry made it home Sunday afternoon. He was so excited to meet Joshua. Boy, did Joshua give him a great welcome home. He just laughed and smiled up a storm when Uncle Larry came through the door!
Later that evening Aunt Cathy & Uncle Randy stopped by for a visit.

On the way home from PA, we made a stop in Fort Wayne to see Grandma & Grandpa Stephens.

We had a wonderful weekend visiting with family and introducing Joshua to the family in PA. A big thanks to Aunt Carol & Uncle Larry for giving us a great home away from home for the weekend!!
