Birthday Boy!!



For you, our precious son,

We send a birthday prayer

That you may know God’s love

With the unfolding of each year

And that you’ll come to know

God’s purpose and His plan

As you walk with God through life

Together, hand in hand.



It's hard to believe it's been 3 years since the doctors handed us this sweet little boy!

 Lord of all that lives,

Today we give thanks that you created Joshua .

Thank you for placing him in our family.

With each year that passes, make this dear child more like you.

Teach him to do justly,

To love mercy,

And to walk in humble fellowship with you.

May he delight in your creation

And glorify you in his heart

As he discovers the talents and abilities you have given to him.

As his will becomes stronger,

Teach him self-control

And help him to walk in obedience

To your will and your commands.

Thank you for the delight of knowing this child,

Made in your image,

And give me the wisdom to shepherd his heart in paths of righteousness,

For the sake of your name.
