Joshua Campbell Stephens

Joshua was born 11:38 pm on December 12. He was 7 lbs, 14 oz and 20 1/2 inches.  We are all doing just fine.

We are home now. Came home last night (Monday night) around 8:30pm.

 
Duke and Joshua have met and are doing just fine. Duke is very very protective of his baby!  Every sound Joshua makes Duke has to check out if he is okay. The real issue is Duke doesn't understand when Joshua cries, so Duke cries/whines/barkes at the same time. We'll have to work on that.

Here we go...

So, this is my first attempt at this whole blog thing. I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but hopefully I'll figure it out as we go.

Jim & I wanted to create a blog to share pictures and stories of our newest adventure...becoming parents!

I am 37 & 1/2 weeks along. We are expecting our first child, a son on December 17th. That's just 17 days away! I am feeling good most of the time. I get tired, but that's to be expected.

Grandma Dana & Grandpa Bruce have given us the perfect outfit to bring our baby boy home in!

What else would it be besides Purdue? 

He will be covered in Purdue gear from his little hat down to his little Purdue booties & wrapped up in a Purdue receiving blanket! It's perfect!!
