Last Saturday we packed up and headed to see the Stephens' of the South. We had a wonderful trip, great family time and got to relax. Joshua really did great in the car. Actually, he was doing so well we changed our reservation at the hotel to 2 hours past where we had originally planned on stopping. He had a lot more to look at on this trip. This was the first time we turned around his car seat. There are lots of pictures below to show you all the fun we had. A great big thanks to Tom, Sue, Savannah & Isaiah for letting us stay at their house and showing us all the sights!!
Isaiah is on the left and Joshua is on the right. They are only 5 months apart, but when you put them in a double stroller the general public thinks they are twins!

The Dewell's gave us these little aqua shoes awhile ago. I just thought they were the cutest things! So excited he got to wear them & they fit perfectly!

Joshua was pretty tired already on the way to Tybee Island. He wasn't so sure about this funny feeling stuff on the ground and all this bright sun. He decided he liked all of that when he realized he could pick up the shells on the beach!
He's looking at his handful of shells he just picked up. Shortly after this he walked right into the water! (He watched a young lady walk the the pool of water, so he just followed)
All those new things can really tire a boy out!
Sue took Savannah to the bathroom & Tom had already left to get some bread. Isaiah stood like this the whole time Sue & Savannah were gone, watching for them to return. So cute!
This looks to me like a "mommy, you still taking pictures of me" look.
The answer is yes, and get used to it! ;)

I believe this was the lunch that the boys tried to share a plate. What ended up happening was kept stuffing their mouths as fast as possible so the other one wouldn't eat what they wanted. Very funny & cute!!

Love all the moss. I pay for moss by the box at the shop and here it's hanging everywhere. I'm sure it's treated for bugs before I get it, but Tom & I are thinking of a way to make some money off of the abundance of moss they have! :)

We stopped at Cracker Barrel on the way home. Couldn't get him to sit in a rocker long enough to get a picture. They were the perfect size for him!
We got home late Thursday night. We picked up Duke from Auntie Jennifer's house. Joshua was very glad to see his dog again! Vacation is fun, but it's always nice to get home to your own bed. We had a wonderful time away & wish we could do it more often!!
